Alto Forno has been a well-known local franchise restaurant brand over the last decade. Welcoming their guests in over ten locations around Berlin, Alte Forno expanded their service by offering coffee and dessert in separate shops under their fresh brand Alte Forno Coffee Shop. As the very first piece of the chain, this coffee shop will determine how the concept will develop in time alongside offering a comfortable and elegant space to its guests. It has been built on a simple plan allowing easily recognizable circulation paths. Different than Alte Forno Restaurant design, instead of a color palette formed of hot and vibrant color combinations which represent the answer for emotions such as hunger and appetite, Alte Forno Coffee Shop has a bit more silent color palette in order to serve the need for a relaxing atmosphere. Lighter wood finishes are combined with neutral tones like beige, midtone gray and black. A slight movement has been added in the kitchen part by the vibrant green tiles and white marble. The green is also supported by vegetation that is placed on the central part of the shop, creating depth and consistency.
